We have been operating liveaboards out of Phuket since 2000, primarily to Similan and Richelieu Rock in the north and Hin Deang and Hin Muang in the South. We have also made trips into Burma and the Andaman Islands.

Our Boat the MV Giamani

She was purpose built as a diving liveaboard in Thailand in 1998, in 2007 Colona Liveaboards took possession of her and started running trips to the Similan Islands and Burma.

In 2011 she spent a month in the Andaman Islands running trips from there.

Comfortably housing a maximum of twelve guests there is plenty of room for relaxing and a spacious dive deck.

Our 2 Days / 2 Nights Thailand Liveaboard Cruise on MV Giamani is the best way to fully enjoy Phi Phi Islands Diving. You will be able to dive the best Phi Phi Islands dive sites avoiding the crowds, improving the chances to see the black tip reef sharks!

The sea during Summer can sometimes be choppy during navigation, however, most of the dive sites are on the east side of the islands sheltered from wind and waves allowing us to dive comfortably and safely.

On Wednesday you will enjoy our selected Phi Phi Islands diving sites, and in the evening you will have the chance to visit the charming Phi Phi Village for a couple of hours and have a few drinks before returning to MV Giamani for the night. On Thursday will have one more dive at Phi Phi, then move for two more dives between Shark Point and Koh Doc Mai before cruising back to Phuket Chalong Pier in the early afternoon.

Our MV Giamani, with a length of 24 meters and a beam of 6 meters offers plenty of space. Giamani has 1 Master cabin and 4 Deluxe cabins to accommodate 10 guests only, ensuring that there is always plenty of space for all guests on-board. All cabins are en-suite & air-conditioned, with warm water showers, minibar, wardrobe, fans, reading lights.

Two Room Types

You will stay in our Master Cabin or one of four (4) Deluxe cabins on the main deck.

  • Deluxe Room - On the main deck we have 4 Deluxe cabins, with double bed and additional extra bed for Twin Sharing. Each Deluxe cabin has it own air conditioning unit, mini-fridge and en suite bathroom with shower-box. The cabin door opens to spectacular sea views.

  • Master Room - Giamani’s air conditioned Master cabin is located on the upper deck, behind the wheel house. This spacious cabin has one double bed, one additional sofa-bed for Twin Sharing, mini-fridge and en suite bathroom with shower-box. Access door is in the salon.

Dive Deck

The dive deck is quite spacious equipped with camera tables and rinse tanks making this an ideal boat for serious photographers. Onboard you will also find a comfortable cushioned lounge are and an excellent ice making, great for those are dive cocktails!

Salon

Enjoy the air conditioned salon for watching a movie, playing back your digital images from that day’s dives, or browse through our extensive library of marine books. Our popular cushion relax area gives you plenty of space to read a book, enjoy the views and chat about the thrilling dives of that day.
