About Eden Rock Diving Center

Eden Rock Diving Center is the gateway to Eden Rock and Devil's Grotto, two of Cayman's most loved dives. Great for diving and snorkeling, enter the water at one of two diving ladders into 3 feet of water and swim out over the gently sloping bottom until the reef rises to within a few feet of the surface before dropping in vertical cliff faces to a 40 sand bottom.

The PADI Discover Scuba Program and Dive formally known as a Resort Course is for those who have wondered what it is like to Scuba Dive but are not ready to take the full certification course, This introduction to the sport a quick , easy, safe and fun way to see if the underwater world is for you!

Eden Rock Diving Center's Discover Scuba Dive begins with a short familiarization course which includes an informative session with one of our experienced PADI dive instructors who will explain the basics of the gear, safety rules, a description of the dive site and the fun you are going to have.

Once the briefing is completed

You will gear-up and enter the shallow water down one of our dive ladders. The water is usually calm and clear - a perfect place to learn the water skills before starting your dive. At the entry point the water is about 4 foot deep after completing the safty drills your dive will start following the gently sloping bottom out to Eden Rock Reef. The reef rises from a 40-foot sand bottom to within a few feet of the surface. This makes for an ideal site for you first dive as the coral reef is home to a wide variety of hard and soft corals, sponges, tropical fish and large Tarpon.

Notes:

This course is available to those students who are a minimum of 10 years old, medially fit to dive and comfortable in the water.
This is not a Scuba Certification Course, Groups are kept small, 4 students or less to one instructor. Certified divers are welcome to join friends and family on the beginner dive.
Duration about 3 hours.
The diving center is on S Church ST close to the dock.

Eden Rock Diving Center is situated a short swim from two of the world best shore dives Eden Rock and Devil's Grotto. Both reefs rise from a sand bottom in vertical cliff faces to within a few feet of the surface. The reefs are honey combed with caves and tunnels with tropical fish, corals and sponges as well as Silversides and Tarpon. Entry is down a ladder into four feet of calm clear Cayman water.
