About Dive Sint Maarten

Dive Sint Maarten is a small boutique style dive center in Philipsburg St Maarten. We are located right at Great Bay with free access to the ocean. Our dive shop is just 10-40 minutes away from the most beautiful dive sites on the south of the island. There is a great variety in dive sites, from wrecks (old and more recent), reefs, swim through and a lot of unique marine life.

Dive Sint Maarten is a small boutique style dive center in Philipsburg St Maarten. We are located right at Great Bay with free access to the ocean. Our dive shop is just 10-40 minutes away from the most beautiful dive sites on the south of the island. There is a great variety in dive sites, from wrecks (old and more recent), reefs, swim through and a lot of unique marine life.

Our boat, an Island Hopper 32ft, fits max 8 divers and 3 staff, so no cattle diving.... We go out once a day for a two tank dive at 0900am. The trip takes about 3 1/2 hrs. Our dives are guided by an instructor or dive master. We only do boat dives.

Dive Sint Maarten is located close to the cruise piers, just a 10 minute walk, you don't need a taxi if you arrive by cruise ship. Our times are based on arrival and departure times of most of the cruise companies.

Open Water Diver

You can take this course after completing the Open Water Diver certification. It will advance you diving knowledge and skills, building your confidence and expanding your scuba skills through various Adventure Dives. One of our experienced scuba instructors will supervise you as you gain experience, try different specialties, log dives and develop capabilities. On successful completion of the course you obtain a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
