About Mar Adentro Diving

We're a dive center and school (PADI, and soon SDI) with 2 top priorities: the good health of the reef and the quality of teaching. We believe that scuba diving should belong to divers and not to the diving industry.

Besides courses and guided dives along the local reef (8 kms), we offer yacht day trips to the Chinchorro Bank and exciting lionfish safaris in pristine sections of the Great Maya Barrier.

We encourage you to try and get out of doubt. In the Discover Scuba Diving, or baptism, you will learn the basics, you will experience what diving is and … you’ll be convinced!

Scuba diver You may not have the time or you may not see clearly that diving is your thing. Then, sign up for a baptism. All you need to discover a fascinating new world is to be in good health and be over 10 years.

The DSD is not a course in itself, but an experience, but can tell you as a bonus if you later decide to do the Open Water with us, or any other dive center providing PADI courses.

Receive a theoretical introduction to the rules and basics of diving, scuba equipment assembly and its components and learn some under water exercises. Then your instructor will take you to the reef in shallow waters,
making a dive supervised at all times.
