Watch What Happens When You Break an Egg Underwater?
Ever wondered what would happen if you would break an egg underwater?
Anyone who has ever spent any time below the surface knows that things are very different down there. Things move differently and even appear differently. What happens on land looks very different when it occurs in the same fashion underwater.
It seems that a couple of divers decided to take this observation and clearly illustrate it by recording what happens when an egg is cracked open during a dive. While most people probably would never think of doing this, this is certainly a video that will pique your curiosity and make you want to watch.

Throughout the video, the diver proves that, underwater, gravity doesn’t seem to affect the egg as it would on land. He spins his finger in the water and causes the egg to levitate and swim around so that he doesn’t have to touch it with his hands and risk damaging it.
And the entire time, the egg remains intact, looking like a little yellow ball floating around. The egg whites at one point begin to separate a bit from the yolk, forming a sort of tail, but nothing ever detaches. And at the end, one of the divers smashes the egg between his hands and watches as all the pieces float away.
