Infographic: The History of Dive Technology
During the Greek and Roman era brave man took the first steps in what we now know as scuba diving. The most of us where not around at that time, but I am sure many of us grew up with Jacques Cousteau and his Calypso.
We all know that Jacques Cousteau was the co founder of the Aqua Long which was the first underwater breathing apparatus.
In March 2012 James Cameron concurred the Abyss with his high tec submarine the “DeepSea Challenger” Cameron set the record for the deepest solo dive in the world. He dived to the bottom of the Mariana trench 6.8-mile-deep.
In between these 2 major events in scuba diving history a lot happened. In the Infographic below you can learn more about the evolution and history of Dive Technology.
